Alia Breaks 50m Breaststroke Record Again, Into Final

GLASGOW, Scotland --- Alia Atkinson continues her amazing form when she swam another Commonwealth Games record of 30.17 seconds to win the women’s 50m breaststroke semi-final at the Tollcross Swimming Centre on Thursday.

Earlier in the day, the Jamaican swim queen had smashed another games record when she torpedoed in the pool to win Heat Three in 30.49 seconds.

The gold medal race is scheduled for Friday at 7:05 pm (1:05 pm Jamaica time).
