To date, several students have achieved the distinction of a 1st degree black belt.
Numerous Karate tournaments have been entered both locally and overseas and several of the students have emerged as winners.

The Vaz Preparatory Builders’ Club meets on Fridays from 2:15 to 3:15r pm. The club caters to children ages nine to twelve. It develops leadership potential and helps to build the moral character of its members. Builders are encouraged to participate in fundraising activities which provide funding for projects that serve the needs of the school and the wider community. This club is linked to the Kiwanis Club of New Kingston.
Vaz Prep Red Cross Link is an active club which was formed in 1995. The members are taught first aid skills, health education, drills and service skills. They also enjoy indoor games and outdoor games.
Fundraising is an important aspect of the club. We use the funds to provide food, clothing and other necessities to various institutions. The aim of our link is to protect the life and health of others and to give aid and comfort to the sick and suffering.
